Cape Coral is on the 100 best places to live list for 2007 by Relocate America.
Cape Coral was built about 50 years ago by the Rosen brothers. They platted the community and today you can find over 400 miles of canals, some of which have access to the Gulf of Mexico and the Intercoastal Waterway where one can navigate to the Atlantic side of Florida. Billed as the second largest city in Florida by area, it's population continues to grow rapidly.
There are thousands of waterfront residential properties on canals. Even with the large increase in real estate values in recent years, Cape Coral is still very affordable.
