Collier County Lowers Taxes For 2007
At a budget hearing Friday June 23, 2006, county commissioners unanimously agreed the property tax rate for next year would be lowered to $3.59/$1,000 of taxable property. For the past five years the rate has been $3.90/$1,000. The total affect is about $22 million in property taxes.
